Not a metaphor, legally a weapon.
The state knows how powerful privacy is. 🏴

Crypto was built for freedom and voluntary exchange, not tribal politics. Cypherpunk means privacy, empowerment, and minimal trust. Somewhere along the way, sovereignty gave way to signaling. The revolution was personal, not political.

Worldcoin opened a LA location and thought it was a good idea to have me speak. Spent 25 min calling out proof-of-person as a spoofable scam, warning about the surveillance state, and telling everyone why they should never give up their biometric data. The Worldcoin staffers’ faces were priceless.

AI is just a complicated machine that’s great with patterns and basic reasoning. It’s neither sentient, nor alive, and we’re still a decade+ from AGI.

Any resemblance to general intelligence is purely a combination of wishful thinking and naivety.

My love of tech began at six or seven, when my dad would periodically bring home discarded Apple Macs; I taught myself to tweak their configs so I could wring playable games out of hardware that was never built to handle them.

The safe/fair-use AI crowd doesn’t get it. Reality is simply our outcome is “safest” only if we win the race with China to AGI and all this posturing is only handicapping us in race we’re losing.
