The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.

Senators on the brink of retirement who lived full, wealthy lives and never feared the loss of their own healthcare voting for their constituents to die from their inability to afford the same is treasonous

An agreement to agree to do a later vote is NOT an enforceable contract so what in the actual hell are Americans getting out of this deal??

The DNC Chair stands with House Dems to block this deal.

As always, it's feckless leadership and cowardice in the Senate that fucks everything up.

Run them out of office, let's get progressives in there that aren't gonna do dumb shit like this .

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
