I'm convinced it's been a way to normalize extremist behavior. If you sent a death threat a few years ago, your ass was reamed to hell and back and no one forgot who was a douche wagon. Now, it's seen as normal. I'm with ya, there's real people to help, fiction is for fun.

What I’m discovering today is that people actually hate if a video essay or documentary doesn’t tell them exactly how to feel and instead just has a conversation. To them criticizing anything is only useful to change or alter it, with no value in the conversation itself.
