I didn’t get as much this weekend as I suddenly have sharp pain from a cavity on Saturday and had to wait till Monday for a filling. But I got this and 8 other animations done. My wife figured out the collision issues as well so she can move around the level as well.

Progress this weekend so far. I set a goal for myself and it was probably too ambitious. I made my model for Cree in just a couple hours but the characters for this have more complex geometry and their expressions are able to be animated and they have an alternative outfit. #lowpoly #gamedev

Here’s some of the environmental work I’ve been doing in #Crocotile3d the limited color palette is on purpose and I hope when I do the lighting it’s easier to tell the overwhelming amount of purple apart. (It’s not grey it’s a desaturated purple)

Picked up a new skill while I was gone. Been working on some projects with my wife. For one of the projects I did some slight redesigns of some of my characters. These were created in #Crocotile3d but I’m animating them in blender.

I’m sorta back. Apologies to everyone I simply abandoned without speaking to. Our interactions and friendship were meaningful to me and I didn’t treat you like that was true. I was in a dark place and I don’t believe I can bring myself to even check my abandoned discord chats.

My grandma passed away this morning. I lived with her most my life. She never made me feel small or unimportant. When my wife came out as trans she’s was supportive. There’s not enough space to say everything. I loved her and at age 67 she’s gone.

This can’t possible have a happy ending as we know she ends up a witch.

Turning the canvas also makes me sick especially upside down.

Maybe a hot take but ‘right to die’ laws are good actually. It’s not like other people get to choose for you. You have to make the choice. Headline could have been worded more compassionately.

While I struggle with depression all year I go through strong episodes of being driven and excited. too much so. I draw until my hand hurts I sacrifice sleep. Anyway this is me and my wife and my friends reimagined by monster prom esq characters. Sorry if I just don't post for long periods of time.
