To those who disagree, I understand and I don't expect everyone to like this film. It's ok. This is a piece of shit musical I love.

I do not agree with Dick and am of the camp who reclaim this musical for the liberation of identity, the celebration of inclusion, and the surviving tradition of shadowcast and callbacks.

Extra note: Yes I am aware that RHPS is a divisive piece of media to us queer people and of Richard O'Brien's terrible take on trans identity.

More good notes: Sleep is going well (little over 1 interruption per/hour), I stopped smoking and have not had cravings, mood is generally ok, eating more fruits and veggies during the week and lifting dumbbells before bed!

My year of health improvement is still going strong!

Uncertainty.

Trying to prove to myself of things I know, I'm worthy of, and what I am better than in order to stabilize my ego. Yet it denies the real confidence I want, to be ok despite what I don't know/can't control.

It's just that whole concept of Shadow and Persona that gets me second guessing... Which is the true self and which is the mask? Is this something about myself I can change or is this who I am? Can arrogance mature into dignity?

Maybe I'm thinking too much, but as I reflect: There's a part of my ego that asserts itself through arrogance. Knowing more, being dignified or wise, and speaking in ways that come off as patronizing...

It's a trait that's been showing up again and I don't really like it.
