Tariq Halal Meats is a global franchise & is opening its latest branch in Bethnal Green Road, in a premises formerly used as an HSBC bank
The bank closed on August 22, 2023 ,according to Tower Hamlets 24 & has remained vacant ever since
The pedestrian, in his 70s, has been critically injured after being hit by a car on East Ferry Road, near Crossharbour DLR station, yesterday (October 27) just before 2.20pm.
He currently remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

Police were initially called to St Stephens Road yesterday at 9.20pm to reports of a shooting
A man in his 20s was treated at the scene for gunshot injuries
He was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening
East Ferry Road Crossharbour crash: Two people in hospital
Emergency services shut off East Ferry Road, near Crossharbour DLR station, today (October 27) at 2.16pm following the incident.
The London Ambulance Service treated three people at the scene, with two of them being taken to hospital

Council succeeds in stopping Bethnal Green Police Station front counter closure
Today, the Metropolitan Police reversed its decision on Bethnal Green Police Station front counter. It will now remain open for 12 hours on weekdays and 10 hours on weekend days.
While on patrol Tower Hamlets Task Force officers stopped 3 males to conduct a search.
One was found carrying a large knife. They also recovered a large quantity of cannabis, cash and scales.
All 3 were arrested.
Another dangerous weapon and illegal drugs taken off our streets.
