it didnt have as much of a backbone when it first arrived in eorzea, it was much more concerned w lying low to stay alive. it didnt think very highly of itself for it, so much so that it boiled over into a whole new person (esteem)

mitsue: quick to form grudges & loathe to let go of them. assumes the worst of others, almost never gets close enough to them to be corrected and doesnt care enough to. just all around selfish and isnt shy abt it either. fascinating how it landed someone like linhardt in spite of its. everything

linhardt: in denial of his emotions; hes never angry or hurt or scared until it blows up in his face and somehow hes surprised every time. stupidly stubborn, shrugs off help from others n offers his own even when its not wanted bc the worst thing he can be is useless

Things I learned in the '21 TX freeze:

- looser clothing keeps you warmer (sweatpants > yoga pants)
- put a sheet OVER your comforter on your bed
- drape a sheet around drafty doors, roll a towel on thresholds
- keep curtains and blinds closed
- use one or two rooms, close up rest of your home

ok well thats the third time my game has crashed trying to pose this so i no longer care (will probably try again when its not close to 4am)

linhardt's echo lets him talk to animals! its not the only reason but its def helped foster his profound respect for nature. tho no one believed him abt it so now he prefers keeping it to himself </3 he was ~11 when it first manifested, the same time as his accident

and btw he does get tilted if u dismiss her as just a bird, thats his Friend and also the sweetest baby birdie in the whole wide world. if u even care...

if i wanted someone more palatable id bring linhardt but i fear the opposite problem where hes so kind that he just comes off as a bore. a stranger wont put all that effort to know him better, theyll walk away thinking the most compelling thing abt him is he talks to his bird

too protective of mitsue as a whole thats why i havent been to a rp venue in over a year. what if ppl dont like my doll who kind of sucks and is really awkward in a not cute way 🥀 ic tension is fine, encouraged even, but i genuinely worry ppl ooc will think its not fit for rp;;
