I found this singer called ao while watching Glass Heart, she sounds like a young milet, she's 19 and she has songs from when she was 15/16 where she sounds like that, it's actually so incredibly impressive lol, shes definitely gonna be big

maybe it's easy to follow because im simply getting better at japanese, but surely it's not that, surely it's just the simplistic nature of how they're speaking, it could never be the fruits of the 2 years of work i've put in so far, right?

they're all also really easy to follow, i can understand pretty much 95% of what's being said, and i the last 5% are filled in by either context or just looking up whatever word i dont know

Japanese is really fun but it's notoriously bad on Duolingo, I've been studying it for 2 years now and I started on Duolingo but had to stop using it after ~6 weeks. I think romance and germanic languages are better on duolingo specifically, so french might be a play if you have a reason to learn it
