I think that aswell, they did the same with Dawid Malan gave him an extra 12 month's contract and I don't think he played again either.

So obviously then the PSL is not regarded the same to the ECB as the IPL is, goes to show the power that BCCI holds around World Cricket.

So how come then that 6 English contracted player's can't play in the PSL but they can be considered for the the IPL, which goes on even longer, or will the ECB be pulling player's out of that much earlier aswell.

I've just heard that the ECB informed the PSL that 6 English contracted players wouldn't be able to be considered, so how does that effect the IPL now with English contracted players I wonder cos that goes on till the end of May, far to long I reckon, that's going to be interesting.

Haven't the ECB stopped him taken up a £200,000 contract in the PSL, I expect Johnny has turned it down due to his ECB contract still in force till the end of September.

So he'll probably be going to see that contract out then till end of September, he'll probably go all in then down the T20 Franchises route, as I can't see playing for England again can you Beth.

I reckn Johnny Bairstow may be considering this aswell depending on what is remaining 8 months ECB contract are worth to him.

Is there no way any flood barriers could be installed behind the ground all along the River bank, I realise that it would cost a lot of money, but something needs to be done there about the constant flooding.
