We don’t see many US products here in Italy (food quality being the main issue), but if I see any, I’ll probably do a bit of “rearranging”.
To be honest though, I think they’ll become even more scarce, for rather obvious reasons

A friendly master herbalist living in a hill town in rural Italy, inventing cool stuff because I know how. Teacher, healer, artist, damn fine cook. Compassion, kindness & empathy for everyone - except Nazis https://www.thehiddenalchemist.com

Today was a lovely day spent restocking my herb tins.
I received a bag of gloriously fragrant chamomile from my supplier in Germany
Life can thrive in the most tiny & unlikely places.
Find your niche, and thrive.
When you need to be in the studio but you also need a new shirt - a little bit of sewing amongst the herbs
100% handmade clothing has challenges - it’s going on 6 years now of not buying clothes aside from shoes & socks - but it does take time

Right after the lockdowns were lifted here in Italy following the pandemic, my husband and I had the opportunity to visit the Vatican while there were no tourists.
So here is the #arch in the gilded hallway that is usually filled with people
It really was a beautiful sunset - just a quick snapshot taken with an old iPhone after a brief rainstorm passed, but so lovely it’s a favorite of mine

So I’m peacefully living in Italy, married to a US Veteran, and my husband has become increasingly worried that my posts re politics could make us targets.
Out of respect for the tremendous stress he’s under, I’ve created an anonymous account

Sending you a moment of peace from my window.
We believe in you, and someday soon, you’ll believe in you, too.
In the meantime, all of us have your back.
Todays tisane - Mint & Hibiscus.
Lovely to drink either hot or cold, and difficult to keep on my shelf - everyone try’s it and immediately has to take some home with them.
I feel like this tweet did not get enough attention this week

Long ago, our family game night included randomly opening our Merriam-Webster dictionary, to find a word the other family members could not spell or define.
Alternately, I’d read a word, give the definition, and see who could tell if it was made up.
Hours of fun, remembered fondly.
I have often said, that while I may regret bad decisions or some of the mistakes that I’ve made, and do not enjoy looking back on the trauma, I would undo nothing of what I’ve lived through if it meant giving up who I am today.
Look back and wince if you must, but celebrate who you’ve become
I hope you get help and on the road again soon! Having an unreliable vehicle can be such a stressful thing.

Visits to the US are down from Canada for several reasons: tariffs, threats, and the Gestapo.
Visits to the US from *everywhere else* are down for much of the same reasons.
Tourism to the USA is going to tank - and eventually it will simply crash completely.
Along with the whole economy
Understandable that the US tourism industry is desperate and panicking, but nobody wants to risk being kidnapped, tortured & disappeared by Gestapo on their way to their vacation hotel.

People are getting kidnapped off the street for exercising the First Amendment right of free speech or sent to concentration camps in El Salvador without a hearing for having tattoos.
I think we have bigger things to worry about than someones ill-advised insult.
