Oh I had a coworker go absolutely thermonuclear earlier, to the point of throwing his steel water bottle down so hard it dented. All because he got tasked with cleaning up someone else’s royal fuckup.

It’s a wee bit chilly today… Wound up wearing my AKHG longjohns with my jeans and hoodie today at the office to stay cozy. Still want to go back home and sleep though.

I just found out that one of my best friends is moving thousands of miles away by the end of the year. I’m a little shaken by this but I know that I’m one of the select few that they intend on keeping touch with.

And what else can go wrong… I find my cat lifeless on the floor next to my chair in the living room after returning from the vet’s office with my best friend after him putting his pup to sleep. Mr Bean was ill with FIV and Leukemia but he was fine earlier today.

I am thoroughly enjoying it. It’s night and day from the previous vehicle I owned. All in comfort/amenities/performance. And not spending $40/wk on fuel and only about $5 on electricity instead will add up fast.

My best friend had to let his 14yo pup go today… Why does tragedy always have to hit on the holidays…

Well after my weekly work drive(s) plus some general “I’m gonna go for a ride” farting around earlier today I realized I had met about my normal driving habits for the week and then some and it’s gonna cost me roughly $5/wk for electricity. That’s far less than $40/wk in petrol…

Oh the first time I was driving my new vehicle earlier this week the steering wheel gave haptic feedback from drifting into the next lane and scared the piss outta me!

I drove the Ioniq 5 and I was just too big for it. My hands blocked most of the cluster because the steering wheel was so small, I couldn’t see the lane assist cameras.

So I did a thing recently…

Mind you I know my body reacts slowly when I’m cold, because my metabolism is already slower because I’m older. But this shit is for the birds..

I wish I could find someone local who’s a good seamstress to put small reinforced slits into my union suits so I can wear them in this cold weather. There’s no logical way to have my insulin pump infusion set tubing go into it and be tucked into my shirt/pants also. An annoying thing..!

My little one will shiver and be “NOPE BITCH!” when it’s below 55° outside. Yet this morning he trotted into the back yard like it was a beach vacation.

Well I have to find something to wear to the company Christmas party. I haven’t been to one in over 6 years now and honestly I don’t even know if I own a shirt appropriate for the occasion. Mainly because I do not do Christmas.

The problem is that it’s not the younger folks, it’s the damned GenX folks that I see doing shit like this all the time. I realize we’re old enough to the point we don’t give a fuck anymore but goddamn, we still understand what #FAFO means.

It’s things like that which make me despise humanity as a whole. Since the COVID restrictions when folks were forced to avoid being near each other, folks have no sense of personal space anymore and it infuriates me…

And if you’re standing in the queue and on your phone, put the fucking thing down when you approach. That’s just rude as fuck.

You walk up THISFUCKINGCLOSE to me when I’m doing business at a counter, whether it be a bank, store checkout, or a gas station, I will not hesitate to lay hands if you don’t back off when I call you out. Respect personal space you inconsiderate intrusive fuckstick… 🤬🤬🤬
