If you’ve never read Kelly Thompson’s IDW run, I highly recommend it. A fun, beautiful reimagining of the characters that was respectful to the source while creating its own fresh story.

Losing all three of these women all at once is such a punch to the stomach.

Kaori, Wakaba and Mai are each such incredibly strong skaters, but in such different ways. We were lucky to be there to watch. I hope they each move on to doing something they love just as much as skating. ⛸️
