So thankful every day the infusion floor I go to requires masks for both patients and staff. When I was hospitalized last fall masking was strictly enforced in my room because I was immunocompromised. It’s shocking that isn’t the norm everywhere.

I am going to be so upset if they announce a hardcover special edition set of these after I spent so much money collecting the paperback versions😅

I think the only other woman left from that period are Loena, Bradie and Gabby. Who’s to say they won’t also retire, and I never connected as much to their skating anyway. Next season really feels like starting from scratch.

Losing all three of these women all at once is such a punch to the stomach.

Kaori, Wakaba and Mai are each such incredibly strong skaters, but in such different ways. We were lucky to be there to watch. I hope they each move on to doing something they love just as much as skating. ⛸️
