Turns out that being in Atlantic Canada means that my sports year is broken up into two parts. Paying for Sportsnet for the Blue Jays, and then paying for TSN for Hockey.

Bleh, why can't I just have one thing to pay for so I can watch the teams I care about? I now see the appeal of "other options"

Sportsnet straight up lying to my face by saying that I can watch the game in the title, and I can't actually watch it.

So Sportsnet is just straight up lying to their customers now. The title says it's available outside the region, which I AM, but yet it's still blacked out. I live like a 5 hour drive away, why can't I watch the game?

Splitting the regions is definitely one of the causes, but with Nintendo netcode, it's unfortunately a necessary evil.

I find it depends on your weapon as well. I don't get that message often, but my backline buddy does.
