I've found that I really need most of a day of not attempting productivity of any sort, even the things I WANT to do, in order to recover my ability TO do things, but if I take that time then all the sudden there's work tommorrow and I wanted to see so-and-so and there's still all this laundry...

Fair, that and healthcare - decoupling survival from employment would fix a lot of us, I think.

I really need the work week to be four days. I don’t even mind if those days are ten hours. I just need three days that belong to me.

I’m sorry you’re in a tough patch right now, but wanted to mention how much I respect you for saying so and letting it be something that happens and is ok. It seems so reasonable that your relationship with faith has ups and downs just like any relationship, but I find too few folks talk about it. 🫂

Wishing I could justify swapping our second car as well (really cannot, it’s a 2010 Prius that gets driven less than a tank a month. It’s just that the EV is so much nicer to drive!)
