Yeah, we had a similar conversation about my anxiety, and the whole “worry about what you can impact” thing, but… hard sometimes!

Yeah, that’s terrifying. That’s right by the Ford plant, I think what we’re looking at is a bunch of auto junk yards rather than parking lots, so it could certainly be a worse “near the airport” but that’s small comfort to the folks who ARE right there.

My precinct here in VA had 860 total votes cast during the last gubernatorial, and we were ballots 651/652 at around 3:45.

Of course I have no idea what the spread is usually like, polls close at 7. 🤷🏻

Yeah, most of the leadership roles I’ve taken in life have been due to a personal abhorrence for power vacuum more than a desire to be a leader. I just want things to WORK, and sometimes that means doing the work myself.
