The only real solution to this AI business is to make liking "slop" socially unacceptable, it must be socially painful to engage with it.

You must mock and deride people who can't read and write by themselves and need a machine to praise and cajole them.

There should be social consequences to liking a JD Vance post. That should disqualify you from engaging with certain sections of decent society.

BlueSky offerring the option to see what lists people are on won't stop the problem of malicious listing. It isn't Clearsky that is being used in malicious ways, but the blocklist function itself.

Yes, Clearsky is a handy tool, but if you are considering follow-backs, it is best to actually look at a sample of their posts & replies.

Fascists always want to project more power & support than they actually have.

That isn't to say that there aren't both real right-wing people and bots also coming onto the platform. I'm not saying that isn't happening. I'm only noting that the issue is not as bad as it looks when you see something like JD Vance's follower count. It is massively inflated by dead accounts.

The purpose of this massive account generation is to make their numbers seem massively inflated. Many of these accounts do nothing but inflate the follower counts of JD Vance & the government propaganda accounts. They don't even search out real right-wing accounts to follow beyond those.

They either have names made to look like real people or jingoistic names. The farmers creating them are often lazy, using the same names over & over with numbers, often not sequential.

That means that they are set up and then abandoned. They may have a couple or few posts put out to make them look real but usually not. These are often simple & low effort, like "God bless Donald Trump" or the 2 genders meme, which is less popular now than in previous months.

Regarding the massive influx of right-wing accounts going on right now, I think we should be clear about the nature of these accounts. People wonder how many of them are bots vs. how many are real people, which misses an important point. Many if not most of these are what I call dead accounts.

A common camouflage tactic for trolls is to repost a few left-leaning posts complaining about something Republicans are doing so that when someone looks at their account, they think they are ok to follow. Then, in their replies, it is all screaming about how people have TDS.

Check the replies.

The "No Comment" list is a list of questionable accounts. The main one I have for blocking as many right-wingers as possible, with hundreds added daily, is the Troll Silencer.
