APPARENTLY, the only person who displays no number plates on their car is the King of England himself, in which case I have just seen Charles Ill parking his Vauxhall Corsa at Hillingdon underground station. There are times when it’s my number one, but I do think you have to be in the right mood for it, such is its brutality.

I make the same argument at the other end of the spectrum for Diamonds Are Forever, which is a clown car of a film (and is absolutely never my number one).

Not only is he excellent in the role, but the two films are also superb.

His is arguably the best acting performance of any of the Bonds. He brings a danger to the character that none of the others did.
