I just wanted to thank the movie/video/mkv community for existing. Specifically avidemux and MKVToolNix and MakeMKV. Making backups of my movies is incrededibly easy thanks to you all.

Finally catched up with 'Invincible' Season 2 and 3. That pacing was rough, man. Even though i found it cool that the Season 3 finale was the way it was, everything before felt wonky. Also, they did Invincible's loved ones dirty, man. They dont feel like symbiotic relationships.

But the gameplay was as addicting as in the first one, sadly with only minor improvements, but at least throughout the range of possibilities, they upped it a notch, even though it was just a small one every time.

I finished 'Death Stranding 2' yesterday and i might be alone with this take, but i think this time Kojima was a bit too much off the rocker here. Death Stranding 1 was weird, but not as whacky as this one. Fluid character progression was never Kojima's strong suit either and it shows here, too.

'Predestination' starring Ethan Hawke was neat! Not as thrilling as it could've been. But very solid and entertaining.

Season 2 of 'Severance' is hella slow, i feel like. Dont know if it's because i binged Season 1 or if they really stepped on the breaks. But the current episode i had to shake my head when it was over. Not because i was confused, but because the pacing and writing was not i was used to.

Also: isn't it kinda shit that every time you want to start watching a show and now you have to check first if the show is getting canceled plus if it has a cliffhanger season ending? Such a bummer

Just finished 'Sunny' on Apple TV+. I quite enjoyed this one, despite the confusing character dynamics and odd tone shifts. Too bad that this one ends on a cliffhanger and didn't get renewed.

I should go back to binging seasons, so I can toss all the filler stuff immediately out of my head and get the answers of overarching questions of the main plot faster...

Also finally got my hands on 'Arcane' Season 1 on Blu Ray. Sadly not the 4K version, but 1080p will do for now. Still looks fantastic. I take every megabit i can get from this one. BUT WHY DO THEY ADD BLACK BARS TO THIS?! EVERY PLAYER CAN HANDLE ASPECT RATIOS NOWADAYS?!

I stumbled over 'Manie-Manie' (迷宮物語, Meikyū Monogatari, Neo Tokyo) (1987) a year ago, got the DVD for cheap and finally had time to watch it. 80s anime shorts are so fucking weird. I love it. 'Running Man' was so cool.

'The Substance' is a wonderful mess. It seems like it wants to deliver a message about fame, greed and women in showbiz, but turns into a nonsensical freak show and I'm here for it. I enjoyed it more than I should've. The soundtrack is a banger.

The writing in 'Silo' annoys the shit out of me. It's like constantly listening to someone telling you a story and leaving crucial infos out and then getting distracted by something else

I am actually glad they didnt shit out this products afterwards. Only gives you a bad reputation and fucks up the quality people bought in for in the first place. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i think trying it out is totally fine. if you're this financially stable to run projects and look at them in a later stage and say "nah, this isnt going anywhere." is actually a great place to be in. We're humans after all and some ideas sound cooler in your head than they are in reality.
