I find I didn't do as good of a job as the length causes your mind to skip over what you wrote more.

I know I'm in the minority, but editing each chapter as I complete them works much better for me than writing a full story and editing the whole thing.

Am I alone in this? (As an author without an editor.)

In the LitRPG/Progression Fantasy genre, what do you consider to be the best number of words in a chapter?
I tend to shoot for roughly 2500.

Recommendation:
Go to the rest home and hang out with the oldest people there.
