I have trained my friends in TouNemu to a point where I show them a scene from one of my original works and they read it and turn to me like "she's just like Touka" (the character is quite different from Touka but at her current stage of development yes I admit they're similar)

The author is a mood- I honestly prefer when any romance media actually explores how the characters and their relationship develop after they get together. Like pleaaaase it'd help society so much to have a slightly less idealized view of relationships in media...
