A9. While wandering too far into the woulds while fishing a stream for trout, we heard heavy thuds, grunting, and snorting behind the trees. It was kinda freaky so we headed back. What ever it was, followed for about half a mile then left. Never saw what it was, but most likely a bear. 🧸

A5. Visiting ANY historic battle field has always been on our list. Unfortunately we haven't had the opportunity to visit one yet. Would love to see Antietam National Battlefield or Gettysburg! Especially with metal detectors and an EVP recorder and ghost detecting gizmos! 😀👍

A9. Not sure if this counts, but the 'charm' of hummingbirds we have here go into a form of torpor when they sleep at night. Though, with the amount of nectar they drink from our bird feeder every day, it's probably more of a sugar-crash. 😁 They can drain that thing in two days! (piggies)

A star filled night sky beyond an overhanging tree at Fifteenmile Creek campground in October 2025. It was a new moon, so pretty dark.

Q10 #ParkChat Earlier sunsets and later sunrises in autumn mean more time for stargazing! The Orionid meteors peaked earlier this week, and the Taurids and Leonids will be visiting in November. Do you wish upon the falling stars? Do you count meteors? Have you caught any photos?
