Member states are required to set penalties for breaches of the ban, with a minimum fine of 5% of a company’s global annual turnover. 4/

📍Heads up: a flood of initiatives coming on 25/11, including the European Grids Package & Industrial Accelerator Act

The grid package could be published around 26 November — or one to two weeks later — suggested DG ENER Deputy Director Mechthild Wörsdörfer today before ITRE MEPs.

It will include the 2nd PCI/PMI list, guidance on grid connection, and a revision of the TEN-E regulation.

He spoke on the 16 September during a high-level conference to review the Commission's progress in implementing the recommendations set out in Draghi's report on the future of European competitiveness
