I think they were prob. defective (no sign of glue where the sole came free!). I was able to find Spanish "shoe goo" to mend them, which worked, luckily

Day 218 of Buy Nothing (from the broligarchs): Another place where I am ?? my choice: small silicone spatulas are v handy & hard to find, so I traditionally buy them when I see them. I just saw them in a small set of utensils & bought two, so I could use one set camping. NOT strictly necessary.
