YES. There’s a historian who specializes in the Holocaust and Eastern Europe named Dr. Timothy Snyder who has been talking a lot about how even if you can’t do anything else, speaking the truth about what’s happening and rejecting propaganda is a major part of combating fascism.

I’m Jewish. I’ve been to Auschwitz seven times. I’ve been to Dachau, Treblinka, Hadamar, Majdanek, and more mass graves than I care to mention. I’ve worked with Auschwitz Survivors specifically. I’ve spoken to Polish school children about the Shoah.

I know what I’m seeing.
