The fire at Glasgow central station is utterly devastating. Shops, homes and our transport link to England are being wiped out.

When I get insufficient sleep, I constantly feel hungry. Been feeling a little light-headed since I got out of bed which is not the norm for me. Eating breakfast much earlier than usual didn’t help much.

Tell that to the jerk who invented ‘spring forward’.

Chinatown Architectural Walk Take a walk through Chinatown. The architure in this area reflects the people who made this area home in the early 20th century.

There are also a lot of historical and interesting buildings in Chinatown if your friend is interested. Here’s a self-guided tour they can follow: vancouver.ca/parks-recrea...

For places to see, the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Garden has a free public side, and a paid side with gallery/museum. If your friend is interested in Chinatown’s history, maybe the Chinese Canadian Museum (across from the garden).

Phnom Penh is great Cambodian/Vietnamese (chicken wings are a must). Golden Smell Mee is good Malaysian. One of my favourite cafes is Annabelle’s – she has very innovative pastries.

Chinatown BBQ has very tasty and authentic Chinese BBQ. Jade Dynasty I haven’t had in ages but hear it’s only so-so for dim sum (and pricey). If they like Hong Kong style diner food, there’s New Town, Boss, and Maxim’s (upstairs from their bakery) – and all 3 are good bakeries too.
