Is French media the same? German media is.
The 2024 crime/origin statistics vs media reporting of crime/origin.
It's no wonder the hate levels are hysterical.
I was just thinking, the state of things.. that it's necessary first & foremost to identify to the media the origin & skin colour of a perpetrator in the year 2025.
Le Sigh.
(Germany, where I live, is no better right now btw)
The crew have to make the driver aware, the driver confirm a plan with the signallers, we know the emergency response was being organised too...
The time lost is almost all braking (first to transfer to the slow line, then stop at the station).
Astounding work that almost certainly saved lives.
Snippet from Real Time Trains showing the Azuma was one minute up from Fletton Junction onwards, and arrived at Huntington 3 minutes after it was originally due to pass.
Whatever else comes out once the attack on the ECML train last night, this alone is a credit to the train crew, driver, and signalling team.
Huntingdon was the first possible stop. In a highly stressful situation and improvising a plan the train lost just 3 minutes vs line speed to get there.
OK stranger on the Internet, whatever you say.
I know what I paid.

Then it was at least full 2 years special offer. 15-16โฌ didn't reach my area until 2023-2024.
I definitely paid 11.99โฌ for a long time before it started to increase.
At that time, the discounters had 1kg at 8.99โฌ and it tasted like it.

Great investigation of the Nazis, racists and criminals mobilising the flag-on-lamp-posts movement. This is the kind of journalism that the national media could and should have conducted:

02.11.2025 09:15 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Is it? My first 'own' home was in Dogsthorpe..and I lived Granville Street for a while. City always had good/bad areas, like anywhere.
We grew up in village (where Mum still lives) near Oundle. All of us went to Oundle PWS. Sister now near Stamford, 1 brother Huntingdon, 1 brother Greenwich.
My sister only just seen the news now aswell.. ' omg, I was on that train with the kids on Thursday'
Just absolutely down to luck if some nutter decides to attack people in a public space ๐ช

No.
I made a 12 week 'fitness coach' plan to keep me on track after being ill and not start getting lazy going in to winter ๐
Garmin running activity data
A misty view along a river. Trees lining both river banks
Still base building, running for time not distance.
Garmin suggested 38 easy mins.. I suggested more.
We compromised, I ran the suggested 38 mins as the out-lap and then ran back.
Steady easy pace kms along the flat river path for less effort.

Our local route to London. Family's regular commute; sister from P'Boro' , brother from Hunts, Mum's route to visit grandkids in Greenwich..
Really hope all injured and traumatised passengers recover quickly.
It's a double-whammy for US prices, of course.
We're 'only' feeling one effect, not two.
Wasn't meant to be comparing pricing, i have no idea what a normal US pricing system looks like, year on year. Just showing even here (with no insane tarifs on coffee) there has been a dramatic increase on coffee price.

Hope it's an improvement ๐ค๐ป
I went to Lidl this week instead of Aldi, and picked up what I really *hope* is the Lidl version of the same.
The Aldi bag is more golden in colour than this one. But 'Gustoso' / 'Gusto' . Close enough ๐ ๐ค๐ป
I found the only decent Aldi bean is the one called 'Gusto'. Also has almost the same colour packaging as the Lavazza Gusto. All the others I tried, were awful, like you mentioned.
01.11.2025 17:08 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Turns out the sweetheart deal that Trump's former Labor Secretary Alex Acosta gave Epstein back in 2008 was even worse than we thought. Epstein's emails show Acosta tanked an investigation that had Epstein dead to rights on money laundering, and other financial crimes.

I bought a bean-to-cup machine in 2021. 1kg beans (Lavazza) cost 11โฌ back then. Increased to 15โฌ in 2023/4
That same brand 1 kg bag today costs 22โฌ !!
I switched to Aldi own brand for 11.99โฌ.
Yes this is my HM pace, i know it well ๐
Still, a big jump for a first time marathon training plan, from 15K to 21K.
Yeah, showing all the run interval data, garmin.
I suspect the "best" pace 3/km shown on the original upload is like 1 second long, when I start each sprint ๐
