Ashes | Impressions Ashes is an interactive graphic novel with interspersed puzzles set in Victoria, Australia. The game follows the story of Azar, a young teenager who is hiding out at her grandfather's after being a witness to a gruesome crime. Developed and published by Plot Twist (not that Plot Twist), I was lucky enough to be sent a short demo of the game to play through the first few chapters.

Australian graphic novel/puzzler Ashes is coming to Early Access on Steam soon. Is it worth checking out?

Microsoft to Shut Down Xbox Social Clubs this April If you were a social creature on Xbox Live, your days may be numbered. Microsoft have announced plans to shut down Xbox Social Clubs later this year, as users increasingly ignore the feature and turn to services like Discord. Xbox Live Clubs were announced way back in 2016, and back then the team at Xbox were looking for, in their words, "ways to bring people together and have more fun gaming." This brought along useful features like LFG (Looking For Group) but Social Clubs were aimed at bringing like-minded souls together for different things, across different games.
