I talked with @ziibiing.com about Stand With Minnesota, keeping neighbors housed during ICE escalation, and directing generosity where itβs actually needed.

Two court orders have required Leqaa's release.
Earlier this month she was hospitalized after a seizure. Her family was not given answers about where she was taken, her health status, or what medical care she would receive after discharge.
She is currently spending her second Ramadan in captivity.
Leqaa Kordia, a Palestinian woman who protested the genocide at Columbia, is still at Prairieland Detention Facility in TX, having been abducted by ICE in March 2025. She, and all who remain captive in these torture chambers also deserve our collective outrage and action.

All Eyes on Prairieland: Judge Attacks Right to Fair Trial in First βAntifaβ Case!
After 7 months in jail, the Prairieland Defendants finally began federal trial on Feb. 17. These cases have shown a coordinated effort under the Trump administration to criminalize anti-ICE dissent.
Every liberal who carried an "I am antifa" sign to a No Kings march or posted a photo on Facebook of their grandpa in uniform with "antifa" in the caption needs to be paying attention RIGHT NOW to the Prairieland Trial.

If itβs always gonna be βaw shucks well I work for the state so I have to follow the state lineβ then Iβm even less bullish on electoralism than I already was.

as always the entire point of a performance like this is to pull us down to their level of seeing certain classes of people as subhuman and deserving of a violent response
it's all couched as "civility" and "politics" but basically this is just an amoral & misanthropic cunt
This discourse is so annoying because these people treat poor people as subhuman. They donβt even look at people living on the streets in their eyes. They walk by & never ask if they need anything.
Itβs the wealthy ruling class that are monsters, not the unhoused people in public spaces. Toughen up
i am so tired of screaming from the rooftops that we have a looming, avoidable crisis of evictions brewing.
everyone knows it, but yet government and philanthropy have no solutions. unpaid volunteers of rent funds are doing the work that the people who control the purse strings refuse to do

In many cases, the Flock destruction was clearly intended as a public message, as in Eugene, OR, where the saboteurs left note at the scene that read "Hahaha get wrecked ya surveilling fucks."
The message was carried on the local news. At the end of the year, Eugene terminated its Flock contract.
Across the US, people fed up with Flock cameras surveilling their communities, and with local governments that are often unwilling to listen to concerns over privacy violations and ICE data sharing practices, are taking matters into their own handsβand tearing them down.
