It would have been much kinder to tell me (gently!) what I was doing wrong.

I'm 36 now and mostly have the hang of things. But now and then, that old fear rears its head. Am I being annoying? Do these people really like me?

I can pick up on subtle cues really well (neurodivergent and childhood abuse).

My whole life, some people would be nice just to be nice. I could feel that something was off, but I could never tell which of my behaviors were off-putting to people. It made it harder for me to learn how to socialize.

Why do I always draw my characters with such long fingers?

I keep switching between making tangible progress and drawing random other things. At this rate, I'll be 80 before I'm done.

I consider it my responsibility to make using AI so toxic that those around me will be deterred from using it simply to avoid having to deal with the grief I'd give them over it.

I wish it were all still accessible.

Old email accounts. Old sites I made. The list goes on.

The landscape of my childhood, the things I escaped into, and the far-flung people I dearly loved were all imprinted in data that has been erased, just as surely as my memory has been clouded over time.

I love the shore this time of year.

I like them a lot. It's helpful for me to see someone else's work flow because I am *very* inefficient.

I hope you were warm enough. I usually have three gingers in bed with me (husband, toddler, cat), and all three are furnaces. I tend to have a fan on me even in winter. 😅

My son cried this morning because it's Monday. Didn't have the heart to tell him he's got 60+ years to go.

I have a theory that living so strictly by the clock/calendar is bad for humans, but I have no concrete proof or workable solutions.

I will never understand wanting to lose the satisfaction of making something or solving a problem.

Most of my nerd friends live elsewhere, so we've played that way a lot. My husband is an enthusiastic (and very good!) DM.
