Gritty, grey side streets for cars are now green and lively with people. Bicycle lanes on rue de Rivoli?? The only time I saw bicycles on it was the finish of the Tour de France.
Exactly. And, Congress should not be allowed to reconvene and conduct its business before she is sworn in. No taxation without representation.

If the speaker fails to perform this duty, he/she should be automatically removed, no need for a vote, it's just the law.
This is Adelita Grijalva.
She was elected to Congress two weeks ago, officially making her the final vote needed to force the release of the Epstein files.
She has still not been sworn in because Mike Johnson refuses to do so.
Delaying a few weeks is pointless right? So they're just planning to never seat her?

Itβs now *cheaper* to buy and install solar panels and batteries in Africa replacing all the electricity from a coal power plant, than it is to buy coal for an existing coal power plant .
Just by not wasting money on the coal and buying solar PVs.
Only idiots would buy the coal.
Quite frankly it's difficult to describe how absolutely stunning this dahlia flower is, to do so we'll have to just ignore the two other dahlias that are both less frilly and also have pink petals that fade to yellow towards the centre of the flower, they are the back drop for the dahlia we are trying to describe so should be ignored, along with the greenery. The Dahlia we're all here for has rings of petals, which go from almost deep crimson at the base of the petal to white at the tip. If a fractal was given Dahlia form this would be it, frankly I'm not sure the garden didn't use AIslop it looks so perfect.
Good morning, 7th October. 12C heading to 18C. Mostly clear skies. The rains over the last few weeks have entirely saved the Dahlia display in the borders. #bloomscrolling #dahlia π±

"Vase with Three Sunflowers" by Vincent van Gogh, painted in August 1888. It is one of a series of sunflower paintings he created while living in Arles, France. Style: The painting is a still-life artwork in the Post-Impressionist style, featuring bold, expressive brushstrokes and striking color contrasts. Subject: The artwork depicts three sunflowers in a green vase against a light blue background, resting on a brown and yellow surface. The sunflowers are shown in different stages of life, from a vibrant, fully bloomed flower to a wilting one. Symbolism: Van Gogh intended the sunflower paintings to convey a feeling of gratitude and the color yellow to symbolize hope and friendship. He created the series to decorate his house and to welcome his friend, the artist Paul Gauguin.
