You also dont need to make a critically acclaimed masterpiece for you or your creative work to have value 💖

Fly through of part of a Keeper level directly in the Unreal Engine editor. Part way through I turn on all of the game objects the player doesn't see -- it takes a lot to make games work.

This is true, theyre a relatively easy thing to understand and implement. It just feels like with so much money there might be more companies innovating beyond shoot, slash, kill.
And while violent games arent directly making people more violent id still argue that all media is desensitising people.
Absolutely, its definitely fine that some games are slashy but i wonder is this really what the supposed pinnacle of gaming is?
Its a good thing indies are doing a fantastic job of pushing in the opposite direction tho 😊
