What I like about this suggestion is it helps by reducing one of the decisions (when), which would also free up mental bandwidth to solve the question of what to post.

The encouragement is extremely effective.

Now if only I could figure out why I can't get myself to post about my project instead of just silently lurking until I perish.

Between Bluesky, Twitch, & certain communities on Discord, it feels to me like a golden age for indie game devs. Like the old days of ConceptArt dot org. There are tons of awesome creative individuals working hard & supporting each other. I expect to see clusters of these devs finding success.

This is such a neat way to showcase the work you've done so far! I especially love the truck physics shenanigans.

As a new dev this is an anxiety I've felt as well. I'm not using plugins myself (mostly because I've been really enjoying trying & learning to make things) but I can say even after a year of coding I still haven't yet created a bug I couldn't solve.
