Ironically enough, there was a pomsky in my area to adopt, but I couldn't as we are waiting to purchase a house with a yard along with his parents (to help financial wise). I wanted him so bad lol. Lilley keeps us occupied

But living together was extremely crucial. You don't know if you can truly love/get along with someone until you have to live with them 24/7. Sounds easier than it seems, but true compatibility comes when you move in together. I wouldn't accept a proposal without that part imo.

I was the person proposed to, but we gave it 2 years into the relationship as well as living together for a year which I think that played a huge part and secured it.

Im not sure on his part at least,but for the both of us it was more of the it feeling right and knowing we were ready to commit.
