These are typical raccoon tracks. The lower track on the right is a Right Hind and the upper track on the left is a Left Front. This arrangement is often common when a raccoon is moving in an extended walk or sometimes called a 2 x 2 walk. The pattern is distinct.

It is nice to see this perspective of the moon in a waxing crescent.

I always liked this perspective of a waxing crescent of the moon.

This is my firsts post. I will be adding images and experiences with my students on tracking animals from the northeast US this coming semester. I have taken some of my past students to Nepal to work with an NGO, Nepal Tiger Trust. We will be releasing a documentary on how to live with tigers soon.
