Dark Souls 3 was mine for years. There's coziness in the dark.

I have! Most players seem to beat it in three hours, but it took me six. My reflexes aren't as sharp as the hardest gamers.

It has some huge surprises, which I won't spoil. I think it's a special game.

Some screens took me forever. I still loved it, though.

I am going to link to organizations that I know for sure are helping trans Kansans. This thread will develop slowly as I either know people or will vet them.

At this point we have not heard from anyone being helped via relocation resources. These exist, but I assume they are overwhelmed.

Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads:

The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you.

And our governments are very much the same...

- Marjane Satrapi, Iranian-French graphic novelist

Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.

The only thing it feels worthwhile for me to say right now is pay attention to whether your feelings & the information you’re absorbing are paralyzing you or prompting you to meaningful action, whatever that is. Paralysis helps no one but the enemy.

The more I've studied history, the more obvious it's become that 'scary' figures just had good PR. Nazis were *and still are* unbelievable losers. The internet is merely how such losers poison themselves today.

Social media is helping a new generation learn that war criminals aren't just monsters--they're also the biggest losers imaginable.

I'm cheap, but Nessie's design and animation totally wowed me.

Initially I was put off by the first episode, because the perv gaze was so intense. I'm glad I gave it a second chance, because the show never got that off-putting again and does so much so well. Aira has become a weird hate-fave for my household.

Even if you're reading too much into it, this is the most interesting DanDaDan take I've ever read.

The purpose of this website is to help unburden your brain by releasing horrible sentences that live in there like demons

I love that the premise of Batman Beyond is that Peter Parker would be a better Batman than Bruce Wayne.

I don't tend to push things on people who aren't digging it. But especially back when they first aired, the FMAs were lit. So many great surprises along the way.
