For sure, though - the minis were not quite as crisp as the 3D renders on Monster Fight Club’s website. The newer promos look a lot sharper, so I think they’ve gotten their mini production dialed in recently.

The final Danger Gal: Bengal. Another questionable face sculpt, but it’s barely the focus of the model. On the other hand, I’m happy with the gradient on the coat.

Danger Gal 6: Tigress. This one frustrated me. I screwed up the face so badly that I stripped the mini and started over, and I didn’t fully recover it. Oh well. We share our failures along with our successes.

Our corgi got a new toy today, and he’s in full sploot mode as he tears into it to pull out the squeaker.

Already untold thousands of creative geniuses--brilliant would-be musicians, writers, painters, filmmakers, you name it--are working as janitors, short-order cooks, agricultural workers, Amazon warehouse employees, etc., and that's the world THEY WANT! One with a class of poor, trapped workers.

My primary FLGS's owner brought me back two GenCon-exclusive Cyberpunk minis as thanks for helping run events at his store, so I'm taking a brief break from painting 40K to finish up the Danger Gals I've been sitting on for about a year. It's good to have a change of pace once in a while. :)

It's a shame, because I love the concept and I'm itching for some good solo mecha tabletop goodness (and Battletech Aces is a few months off still), but this one wasn't for me. YMMV, of course.

So I've been trying out RIG, a solo-play pen-and-paper Souls-like tactical mecha game. After trying several games of it, I've come to a firm conclusion:

I don't like Souls-like games, whether they're digital or analog. Major difficulty spikes and constant resets of progress annoy me greatly.
