Desch's sister Neyna spent about 6 years looking into her brother's disappearance and was nearly torn finding out what happened to him. She would never tell him, but he senses very precisely how pained she is around him, so he creates distance to help her process her emotions

Desch has a younger sister. They don't see each other often, as per Desch's request. Losing his memories and adopting a new personality changed who he was, and his sister was distraught after finding that out. He continues to act endearingly but knows he is no longer the brother she once cherished.

Desch would get so fixated on documenting everyone's life that it takes a mental toll, and he comes to the conclusion that his stress would end if everyone died at the same time so it would be easier to complete his work. The automaton he creates to safeguard his work would end his work instead

I don't remember if it's an actual emote in game or not, but the Echo headache thing where you like double over and clutch your head. Very much a Desch emote for his headaches

Despite being intent on making sure everyone is remembered, he forgets that he is part of 'everyone' and would be very surprised and very flustered if someone prepared a party for him of any kind

Desch lost a lot of his memories, so he's unsure exactly when or where he was born, but his sister is a Molkoh, so he's assuming he is one as well. He doesn't like leaving so many lines unanswered

I've planned this out. If all of my OCs had a battle royale and it happened toward ARR, my voidsent OC would win almost uncontested. On the other hand, if it took place maybe 4 or 5 years after ARR, then my berserker au ra would easily outclass him. She's going to be the strongest OC I make for 14

Desch would say something along the lines of: "The effort you put in the volume of your words would be better applied in their meanings." But he would try to handle the complaint as if they hadn't raised their voice at him.

We'd be quiet friends. I'd play games, and he'd be reading something in the same room. There would be a little overlap in our interests, but I don't see him being a gamer tbh. I might be able to convince him to make full-dive gaming software if he were.

In no particular order, Desch likes

1) Tomes on aether application in magic or technology and records of Etheirys' history
2) Crystals, corrupted or otherwise, and power sources of all kinds, more recently electrope
3) Relics of the past, mainly Allagan

He would hold it by the string confused at its purpose and then ask if it was meant to be a legless carbuncle or tatsunoko of some sort

They both overwhelm his senses when exposed to too much of either at once, which is why he often travels on his own and avoids staying in heavily populated areas for too long. He still can experience visions of another's past, but it happens so rarely since he's not around others much.

Desch has two manifestations due to inhabiting two souls at once for a while. One gives him the ability to read aether precisely, letting him determine the shape aether will take before it's formed. The other allows him to read dynamis and determine how everyone in his immediate area feels.

At one point in time, I thought it would be cool if Desch had tamed a Nightmare, but then I did absolutely nothing with it.

Desch's might be called Forgotten Death in Latin. If he got to that point, he'd have come to terms that not everyone should be remembered in death and is willing to erase his targets from history. The other option would be Mors Certa referencing something he'd have created to guard his life's work

Desch's dialect has softened a little bit and is more contemporary than it used to be. His fingertips also have more papercuts from all the books he flips through

Desch collects relics with any Allagan relevance. Anything he can't collect himself, he'll join a party for

I guess it would also be important that some of my OCs are a package deal and wouldn't make sense if certain others weren't included in their backstories

It would also be nice to know just how in depth with my own character they'd be looking to find out about and if I'd have to add more to their background or take away a bit to fit their canon

I have a lot of OCs and almost any of them I would love to have incorporated in someone else's lore. I would just like to know what kind of character they're looking to interact with or how lore-adherent their character may be (most of mine are, and I know some people are particular about it)

Amaro merchandise. I know they aren't as popular as chocobos, but they deserve some physical representation

I have more characters than I can post about at once, but this sounds like a fun idea
