I don't understand the hounding & hatred toward Starmer.
He may be far from perfect, but seems a decent chap, trying & working very hard.
He's not a toff like Cameron, doesn't have an evil streak like May, certainly not a fool like Johnson, not out of touch like Sunak & a different species to Truss.

The PM was asked about this at PMQs today.

He did not shy away from calling out Reform, reminding us Kent was supposed to be the Reform blueprint for how they'd run the country.

But all Reform have to offer is grievance, division and incompetence!

What are his policies? Who is funding him? Why is he determined to split the left vote and let reform in through the back door?
Ask questions don't just blindly follow. there are no quick fixes here we have to build our way out.

It would seem the government are unhappy at the speed at which Ofcom are implementing online safety protections.

The Secretary of state here is writing to the Ofcom Chief Executive expressing disappoointment on the recently published roadmap and asking for them to expedite the processes.

Labour have been trying to get round the lack of media coverage by going direct to socials. I just wish they had a better presence on here. Well done to those who do actively post on Bluesky. Convince more of your colleagues to do the same.

The Tories had one of the most toxic environments in Downing Street.
They delivered 4 manifesto promises from 2019-2024. That’s 4 manifesto promises.

Labour have delivered over 70% in first year of their manifesto.
I admit I don’t know the exact number of that % but I bet my life it’s more than 4.

Naivety from Labour making that promise without seeing the true accounts.
They are learning political lessons from that though. and this time, I think that despite the media constantly baying for blood,

If the UK can do that, so can the US...especially if they want to continue the intelligence sharing.

This doesn't seem to be getting much attention in the UK, but it is big.

The UK doesn't want to get involved in the US's indiscriminate killing when they go after these boats.

I am beyond pleased that Labour have committed to this. I’d like to see animal testing wiped out in UK/world. But:

- £75million funding to develop non-animal testing
- End of animal testing for skin & eye products within 14months
- Drug testing on dogs & primates much reduced by 2030.

The claims of people inside No 10 briefing the press about the PM fighting for his leadership appear to be wrong.

As I speculated this morning, it appears to have been nothing more but a response to a question from a journalist!
