Yeah, just echoing what Sabrina said. When I lived in England, shutting the email down during leave was not bc of law or institutional policy, it was just a cultural norm. I’ve been preaching that we could adopt this cultural norm in the US too for eons.

The Hollywood Conference affirmed my love of small, thematic conferences. I saw so many inspiring talks, and there was enough downtime to have actual conversations with people I have known for a long time and with people I just met here. I hope there will be a second iteration. #HWC2025

Netflix has removed all of their interactive content from their site bc interface incompatibility. Those films/shows were culturally important nodes in the evolution of television/interactivity and digital storytelling strategies. This is the archive problem that the digital creates

And lack of self control. Like if you don't have earphones and you want to watch something, too bad do it later. You don't have to be constantly scrolling through content in every 3 secs of downtime. I can go on and on... This is my biggest pet peeve.
