Really, anything with a dedicated graphics card (macbooks use a rather anemic gpu that is integrated into the cpu) will be a MASSIVE upgrade for you in terms of performance when it comes to both streaming and vtuber applications.

I'd personally recommend something with a Ryzen, but that's just me.

Personally I use an Asus ROG Strix G513 I got from returns and repaired, but you could very likely find a good laptop under the Asus TUF line in terms of both performance and value.

Buy something labelled as a "gaming" computer. The name is superficial. They function better than most "professional" laptops while usually being at cost or cheaper than them. Something like an HP probook is a complete scam in terms of bang for your buck.
