My lb log: Cannibal Mukbang 2023 ***½ Watched Oct 17, 2025 I really dug the weird rom com vibes of this haha, and it's overall a solid combo of revenge horror and cannibal gore with lovely lighting and makeup details. My main issue is the dude who played the brother was so over the top it was just annoying and took me out of it, just didn't fit into the rest of the movie even though his storyline was very obvious from the onset. On also a note for misophonia havers, since the premise gave me some concern: there are several eating scenes in this but actually only a couple really have chewing noises! The worst one is at the beginning when we see her mukbang video, after that the use of chewing sounds kind of fades away.
10 Cannibal Mukbang (2023, Aimee Kuge): Kinda cute! Fairly predictable story with a quick pace and a satisfying feminist revenge slasher angle and an eye-catching aesthetic. A perfect double feature with Lisa Frankenstein which I would put on right now if I didn’t really need to go to bed.
