Really liking your kind of loose sketchy lines, while the image and design itself remains incredibly well-defined! It's great! Reminds me of the way I sketch my lines too, hehe

Never in my life would have thought that "excessive makeout scenes" would ever be considered a negative, lmao. I am now very curious about what they meant, hehe

both your works of art and words of wisdom, has been a deep inspiration for me as an artist and as a person. You may have passed away just last year, but your ideas shall forever live on within me, whether it be conscious or subconscious.

To me, this is not just some fake flower, but proof that some of the most beautiful things in our world, can only exist within the fictions we create.

A blue rose is generally known as a symbol for things like illusions, dreams, mystery, the unnatural and the unattainable. A flower that does not exist in nature of our real world, thus would have to be made by humans.

Appearing in Twin Peaks, it was a prevalent symbol, often being mentioned in relation to supernatural investigations. But I think David Lynch himself always saw a lot more meaning within it beyond that.

The Blue Rose

David Lynch always seemed very fond of this synthetic flower.

My "rotten egg" character, that I have yet to give a name. These are from over a year ago, and haven't really continued his design since. However, he has newfound importance in my world, and I see great potential for storytelling with him. His smile can be found at the circus.
