We're excited to announce the completion of our first solar installation, and the results are already encouraging. The system is currently generating an average of 48 kWh of clean energy per day, while the tenants are only using 40 kWh. The surplus power is sold back to the grid to create value for our tenants and community. This installation is part of a wider solar trial, which if successful could lead us to be able to include electricity FREE with our student flats across the country.

My friend Tim has put a massive solar installation on his Ōtepoti Dunedin student flats, it's producing more electricity than the tenants use.
