Worlds Collide (Issue 25)

A laboratory technician robot Blues stands behind a sleeping Doctor Light, and pulls a blanket over his shoulders. Doctor Light's head and shoulders are slumped over the workdesk, with messy papers scattered on the desk under him. She has a caring, knowing look in her eyes, watching him rest. Blues's crutches are propped against the desk. Doctor Light’s pipe is on its side in an ashtray, smoke lines coming out of the pipe’s bowl.

This happened to me more than once IRL! (well, other than I don't smoke...)

Cut Man, a timber felling robot, reaching down to pick up a lab technician robot in a lab coat, scarf and lab glasses, and helps her stand from a grassy field, her crutches spilled on the grass behind her after a brief chase through the lumberyard. Cut Man has the emotional realization hit him that she is his older sister, the one he thought was destroyed in the raid on their lab, and not the trespasser he thought he was going to capture. He’s kneeling to her level, hand extended out, and she’s on her sitting, one knee bent, reaching her right hand to his. Speech bubble from Blues saying “Kitto-kun… Watashi wo hontoni oboete imasu ka?”

Intruder spotted in the lumberyard! A brief chase ends when Cut Man realizes who Blues is: thought left for dead in the Raid...
