Oh yeah I worked with all ages over the years including geri psych (thought it wasn’t my regular unit), and it’s really really tough. You have to be so much closer to do cares, and so much compassion is required even when you’re getting hit. You guys are absolutely the toughest of all of us.

Yeah I’m positive that the NCI training I had to do every 6 months was still more than whatever these “agents” got before being handed a gun and free reign to terrorize American citizens in the streets.

I've been hit, bit, kicked, TACKLED (back pain for life thx), spit on, put in a choke hold, and had furniture thrown at me. l've had to manually restrain patients more times than I can count. How many times have l even come close to hurting someone who was actively trying to hurt me? Fucking zero. Aside from being murderous lunatics, these ghouls are also such cowards it's honestly embarrassing.
