It is a place for the community. It’s a central hub for Muslims and non-muslims for whatever need is required,” he said. “So the fact that we have a big huge polling station sign outside our Masjid, it allows non-muslims to enter the mosque for probably the first time in their life.” The UK Government has maintained a long-standing policy of non-engagement with the MCB, the UK’S largest Muslim umbrella body.
