Tomorrow is Fall Fest! Come join us 12-4pm for free tours, upcycle crafts, pumpkin carving, meet our worms, make a fidget toy, take apart some tech, touch a truck & so much more! We will also be using this event as a collection point for Spartan Shelf.

We are just 4 days away from our fall open house and are excited to announce a partnership with Healthy Spartans! In addition to our many free activities, we will also be a collection point for Spartan Shelf, an on campus program dedicated to meeting students' basic needs.

Our student staff get the job done, annually keeping 6 million pounds of recycling out of the landfill!

DROP-OFF CENTER UPDATE SEPTEMBER 17TH. Please be aware that parking at our recycling drop-off will be limited today until 6PM due to a student event at the Surplus Store.

Event Details: 9/28 at Hawk Island Park. 12-3 p.m. Free to walk, $5 to park. Half of proceeds will be donated to support mental health resources for students at Michigan State. Register at hopeineverystepwalk.com

We were glad to help by loaning event supplies and donating upcycle materials for an art activity.

It is no small effort getting ready for football season! Thank you to our crew who worked all week to the get stadium set up, stayed late Friday for the game, and were right back on campus first thing this morning to collect more recycling!

Welcome back to Spartan Stadium! As another exciting season of MSU football kicks off, please recycle your bottles, cans, & boxes in one of our 80 recycling bins located throughout the concourse.

Living off campus and don’t have recycling access? We are here for you! Located at 468 Green Way on the south end of campus, our recycling drop-off center is open 7 days a week and free to use.

Murphy the recycling robot Murphy is a robot that scans conveyor belts of mixed recyclables, identifies what it sees and grabs plastics that can be transformed into new products.
