It was a proud moment to see Glenuig recognised nationally for the community effort behind the Inn’s buyout and revival.
We’ve moved onto our winter menu, featuring comforting classics perfect for the darker nights ahead.
As we settle into our first winter as a community-owned inn, every meal you enjoy here helps support local jobs, local suppliers and the long-term future of Glenuig Community Inn.
Glenuig Community Inn was honoured at a grand reception in the Scottish Parliament last night as a Finalist for “Scotland’s Most Enterprising Community”!

Today, Wednesday the 28th October the Glenuig Inn has passed into community ownership.
All welcome to join us in the Gelnuig Community Inn tonight, expect joyful community celebrations and of course a few wee drams.

Why not pop into see us? This Sunday we have our fantastic roast dinners including locally sourced beef and venison. Kitchen open 12-2pm and 5-8pm.

The kitchen’s been serving hearty food, the bar’s been filled with music, and our community spirit has never shone brighter.

When Storm Amy cut the power, Glenuig’s community spirit lit up instead.
With candles, headtorches and a lot of teamwork, we stayed open over the weekend. Thank you to everyone who helped, and popped in. It’s weekends like this that remind us what community really means.

Big news! Glenuig Community Inn has been shortlisted (in the final 3!) for the Most Enterprising Community Award at the 2025 Scotland Loves Local Awards! 💙
The winners will be announced next month at a special Parliamentary Reception in Edinburgh.

We were joined by a fantastic crowd of local supporters last night to celebrate the momentous news: that we have now secured the funds to move forwards with community ownership of Glenuig Inn!

We’re delighted to announce that Glenuig Community Inn has been awarded £352,800 from the Scottish Land Fund, meaning we now have the funds to secure the iconic Glenuig Inn as a vital community asset!
