We lost one of our cats last week. But after Newton’s passing, Mambo has gotten very attached to our dogs which he wasn’t really before. I miss Newton so very much, but I’m very glad that Mambo has someone to cuddle with in Newton’s absence.

This is a close up image of a male Mallard duck who is paddling across the water towards my camera. His bill is just touching the water skimming it for tasty things to eat and drink. He has a Kelly green head, yellow/orange bill and brown body feathers. What’s interning about this image is that it was taken on a very cold winter day so… the duck has very small ice pellets clinging to its green head fathers.
