I'm curious what others think about the shutdown question. I think I agree with Schumer that a shutdown would do little to solve things while allowing Republicans to blame dems for government dysfunction. Others say dems need to use it for leverage now. Thoughts?

Can't help but notice that Trump's popular vote win will be by a margin of 1.6%, less than Hillary Clinton's 2.1% win in 2016.

I think the wrong questions r being asked about the proposed tariffs. The real question Is how little will he accept from Mexico , Canada and China in order to be able to say the threat of tariffs worked ?
