My father was a big one for being a GRUMP no matter what we did... Ultimately it backfired on him when I decided "If all I'm getting is yelled at, I'm doing whatever the hell I want from now on."
Could NOT please him, so I just stopped trying and just made myself happy from then on.

PSA for Switch 2 No Man's Sky players doing the expedition: there's a nice beetle on the 1st planet, TURN OFF MULTIPLAYER, and the 3rd rendezvous has an infested planet, it just doesn't show from space. (Think it was the "boiling doom" planet)
